Spinners Choice from Kidsmart
Enriches vocabulary and develops thinking skills through solving word puzzles. The word puzzle is displayed as blank letter spaces at the bottom of the page, and a clue is furnished. There are 10 different categories (Presidents, Computers, etc.) with at least 25 puzzles each. The object is to solve the puzzle by asking the computer for letters. Prior to selecting a letter, the student presses "S" on the keyboard to swing the hammer, which "spins" the award numbers on the 3 barrels, indicating how many points will be received for a correct guess. If you guess a letter that is in the puzzle, its position in the phrase will be be revealed. The score will be tallied in the upper left corner of the clue box. You continue to guess until you choose a letter that is not present. Then, you must "spin" again. 1 or 2 players. Edit feature allows addition of new categories (up to 26) with up to 50 puzzles each, or the editing of existing categories.
