The fun and easy way to teach fundamental science concepts!

Science Court: Sound is part of the Science Court series.

The Science Court series introduces core science concepts and models good scientific practice with this fun and engaging series that mixes animated courtroom drama, hands-on science activities, and humor. As each case unfolds, students examine the facts and perform hands-on experiments to help them predict the verdict. By discussing their findings in groups and as a class, students are able to articulate and comprehend challenging science topics.

In Science Court: Sound, Sasha Meany hires Shep Sherman to fire the town cannon precisely at midnight to kick off the town's 200th anniversary celebration. When the cannon blast is late, Sasha accuses Shep of ruining the festivities. Did Shep fire the cannon too late? Or is there something special about the way sound works?
