The Anchor Story Volume 1:
A thematic story introducing the idea of conflict lets students discuss issues of stewardship and cooperation, and write or record a group story. Instruction is anchored around a rich and complex video story, which allows every member of a heterogeneous class to participate.
Thematic Short Stories Volume 2:
Students expand on the Anchor Story with three fables that connect to its literary themes. Students view a video rendition of the fables. In the Workshop, they write a book after engaging in sequencing, speaking, and reading activities. Students easily save their work and return to the program, using writing, editing, and publishing tools to create their own stories.
Reading Skills Volume 3:
Sing Along Books, Rhyming Books and Sound Books teach and reinforce early reading mechanics concepts. Twenty stories focus on complex and abstract vowel sounds and developing sight reading vocabularies. Students are supported with highlighted text, clear audio pronunciation, options for word syllabication, and a "recording" studio.
Creating Original Stories Volume 4:
Three story starters let students continue to develop writing skills in a supported workshop environment. Art and sound tools encourage students to publish stories based on these or other literary themes.

Sunburst Licensing & Versions Definitions
Single/School-User Version
Includes one disk or CD-ROM and a teacher's guide. You receive a license to install the program on one computer at a time. Teachers and students may use the program from home or other school-approved off-site locations.
Network License
Includes an unlimited site license on a single file server for use on interconnected computers at one school site. A Teacher Guide is included. You may purchase stand-alone CD-ROMs for the network title at $10.00 each. These CD-ROMs carry a School-to-Home License.
Lab Packs and Site Licenses
Includes a specific number of CD-ROMs, the license to run the program on the same number of computers at one school site or home, and a single copy of a printed Teacher Guide.
School Unlimited License
Completely installable programs contain one disk or CD-ROM, one Teacher Guide and the license to install the program on an unlimited number of computers in the school community.
