ELECTRONIC MANIPULATIVES
Elementary school teachers use a variety of concrete manipulatives. Math Journey incorporates electronic versions of three of these math tools: Math Rods, Math Cubes, and Fraction Strips. The math manipulatives are central to Math Journey, and insure that students both experience and internalize math concepts.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
In addition to electronic math manipulatives, Math Journey supports a large number and wide range of other kinds of activities, including portfolio activities (students can create their own number books), interactive tutorials (students answer questions based on text and graphics), worksheets (students order numbers), and instructional games.
