The TAB 2.2 Pro includes all the TAB 2.2 features plus the following features for specific production purposes.
Raster-to-vector converter:
You can load into the TAB raster drawings (i.e. drawings not based on vectors) made or scanned with third-party software, and automatically turn them into vectors. At this point you can edit the drawings, for example changing the bending or the thickness of a line, or paint them, as if they were made directly in the TAB.
Mask Columns
If you need to show some elements of your animation only inside a shape, or animated shape, you can define a mask. Draw the shape, or animated shape, in the usual way, then change the column from Normal to Mask. The mask will affect the first column placed to the right of the mask column.
Export Sequence of Full-color Images
When you have to export scenes for a television (or higher) resolution, keeping the quality needed for such an output, you can export frame sequences directly from the TAB, the same way you export them in QuickTime or in SWF format. The result is a numbered sequence of images in the file format you selected, handier to manage, that can be easily imported by an editing software, or a DDR to be transferred to the final media.
