[SMART Notebook SE is a new kind of software for a new generation of students.

SMART Notebook Features
My Home – Allows students to personalize SMART Notebook SE software with their own photos, images and information. They can create their own home page from scratch or use a template.
Personal tutoring service – Gives students 50 minutes of free tutoring time with Tutor.com, a homework and tutoring service that is accessible anytime.
Create
SMART Notebook tools – Offers students all the creative potential of award-winning SMART Notebook software, including the drawing and writing tools, the ability to insert multimedia files into documents, and the benefits of the page recording feature, and more.
Design templates – Enables students to save time by providing them with easily-customized, ready-made templates for homework and assignments. These ready-made templates offer a variety of useful designs such as science projects and book reports.
ScratchPad – Allows students to quickly make notes anytime. There’s a ScratchPad page open and ready for use all the time, so students can add information whenever they find something they want to save or write down. The pages are automatically stamped with a date so they can be easily located.
Tabs – Helps students move content from one document to another in any order they choose. Students can use the tabs to quickly drag and drop objects into documents and add pages to files.
Organize
My Binder – Allows students to organize schedules, assignments and to-do lists based on tags they assign to their SMART Notebook SE files.
Simple interface – Provides students with easy access to files and quick previews of all material.
Tag cloud – Help students quickly locate files through keywords displayed in a Web 2.0 tag cloud. Common topics appear in a larger font, making them easier to find.
Flags – Enables students to identify information in any file for reference later when they are studying for a test or preparing an assignment. Flags are color coded, and the labels can be customized.
Search function – Offers students quick access to files by allowing them to search by keywords or phrases. Students can see how many results their search produced and can view each page that contained a match.
Learn anywhere
SMART Notebook SE bracelet – Allows students to take SMART Notebook SE and their files with them anywhere. The software is loaded onto a green or blue bracelet that contains 2 GB of storage capacity for files and multimedia content. The bracelet is available in both PC and Mac versions. All files are saved to the bracelet, ensuring no files are left behind after it is disconnected from the student’s computer or mobile device.
Automatic file back up – Provides scheduled back up of all data files on the software bracelet. Students can choose where the files are saved.
Content and resources
SMART Notebook software – Allows students and teachers to share files using a similar software platform. SMART Notebook software is used by teachers to create and deliver lessons. It complements SMART Notebook SE, providing students with access to many of SMART Notebook software’s tools and features.
SMART Notebook Gallery – Includes thousands of copyright-cleared images, backgrounds and multimedia files for use in developing reports, presentations and other materials. Includes more than 6,600 clip-art images. Students can also add their own images, and audio and video files.
