Phonics 3b is based on third-grade standards, but the scope of topics and level of challenge make it appropriate for fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade students as well.

Phonics 3b features the Gold Medal Motivational and Data Tracking system, which encourages students to earn bronze, silver, and gold medals by completing each lesson.
