What is ScreenDoors?

Instead of pushing keys on a real keyboard, simply point and click on a picture of a keyboard on your computer screen. ScreenDoors 2000 acts just like the real keyboard typing directly into any application. A list of predicted words actually guesses what you are typing to help speed entry.

• Full Keyboard Emulation: Floats above any window and emulates the physical keyboard in nearly every way possible.
• Internationalized Keyboard: Any language supported by Windows is automatically supported by ScreenDoors. Change the language on your computer, and the ScreenDoors automatically changes with you.
• Localization: ScreenDoors 2000 has foreign language support in the menus and dialogues for French, German, Danish and Italian. It will automatically read your regional settings and change the user interface accordingly.
• Self-Learning Word Predictor: Type faster by selecting words that automatically learn from your writing patterns. As you type a separate window displays possible words that you are typing. The more that you use the software, the better the prediction becomes as it learns your style of speech. It will also do "next word" prediction.
• Resizeable: Fit the keyboard to any size you like on your screen - big, small, or in-between. Simply click on the lower right corner, and "drag" the keyboard to the size that you wish.
• Key-Size Selectable: Handy for creating spaces between keys to prevent accidental keystrokes.
• Number of Keys Selectable: Use the full 101 keyboard, or a smaller one similar to what a laptop has to maximize your screen space.
• Automatically Follows System Color Scheme: The keyboard will look and feel like the rest of your system (you can also customize if you wish). This is great for people with vision impairments using "high contrast" color scheme.
• Dwell Selection: You don't have to click a switch to type - just dwell over the key. It "fills" to the top then clicks.
• Multiple Layouts: Type faster with alphabetical and frequency layouts (as well as the standard qwerty).
