The Prophet V from Arturia is a three part software instrument. The company took the first and last synthesizers created by Sequential Circuits and recreated them, both visually and sonically, in an easy to use software format.
Using TAE (True Analog Emulation) a technology developed by Arturia, the company has faithfully digitally reproduced the analog circuits of both originals.
There are three interfaces in the Prophet V - the Prophet 5, Prophet VS and Hybrid mode. The Prophet 5 and Prophet VS emulations have all features of the originals (five voice polyphony, white noise modulators, dynamic waveform cross-fading with joystick, etc.) The Hybrid mode is both synthesizers stacked one on top of the other offering an entirely new world of possibilities.
Additionally, any existing preset banks from the original synthesizers can be imported into the software via SysEx sound data.
