Percy’s Computer Club
Percy helps children to get to grips with the basics of using a computer in Percy’s Computer Club. Through a selection of fun, yet easy-to-use activities, the basic skills of mouse control, clicking, double clicking and dragging can be practiced, along with using the keyboard. In addition, an illustrated animation demonstrates different parts of the computer. This title is ideal for unsupervised use, as it is fully narrated and features 3 levels of difficulty. Also included are printable worksheets and an extensive teacher’s section.
Along the Path is an activity for developing the player's mouse control skills. They must follow the path with their mouse, without straying onto the grass! Double-clicking is the skill practiced in this activity where the player must double click correctly to open the doors.
Each of the six activities within Percy's Computer Club can be easily accessed from the main menu. In the options section, various activity settings can be changed, along with other settings for the program as a whole.
Players can practice their clicking skills in this activity that requires them to click on the rabbit as soon as it pops out of a hole. The player can find out about parts of a computer by watching a narrated video clip and then play a simple game to test their new-found knowledge.
