Bridgit conferencing software provides a quick, easy and effective way to share voice, video and data over the Internet.

In three easy steps, you can interact with colleagues and customers using any presentation or application you have running on your desktop or SMART Board interactive whiteboard. As well, participants can join your meeting through a simple e-mail invitation – no installation required, which is ideal for those who don’t have administration rights to install software on their computers.

Features

Desktop sharing – Share desktops instantly and alternate desktop control with ease. As well, several people can write over information on a shared desktop at the same time.
Integrated audio and video – View video from as many as four participant sites. The built-in VoIP feature allows participants to be heard without the need for an additional audio conference bridge.
SMART Board interactive whiteboard integration – If you already have a SMART Board interactive whiteboard, you can write directly into an open Notebook file.
Firewall compatibility – The software is designed to work with corporate firewalls, which makes it simple to set up a conference because no special configurations are required.

Set up an interactive meeting in three easy steps
  1. Create - Open Bridgit software and assign your conference a name and a password.
  2. Invite - Enter the e-mail addresses of all conference participants and click on the Send Invite button.
  3. Join - Once the participants join, you’re ready to begin sharing voice, video and data in a secure and reliable environment. And, with no installations required, it’s quick and easy for people to take part in your meeting.

  • Windows 2000
  • Windows XP
  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows Vista

A single-processor server with a 100 Mbit network interface can support up to 250 concurrent users. To support more users, we recommend adding multiple processor cores to the server and allocating more network bandwidth. For specific details see KB112438. More than the recommended number of users may negatively affect performance.

Maximum 150 concurrent users allowed per server. In addition, each server must meet the following minimum requirements:
1 GHz Pentium 4 processor
Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows server™ 2003 operating system
100 Mbps network interface card that supports the TCP\IP protocol (1 Gbps NIC recommended)

Bridgit software also requires an e-mail program for inviting participants to conferences. Although the Bridgit software client works with a variety of e-mail programs, it has been designed to work best with Microsoft Outlook. If you use a different e-mail program, e-mail invitations might not work correctly.

If you have SMART Board software, make sure you have version 7.1.3 or later. Earlier versions of SMART Board software do not support some of Bridgit software's features, including annotations.
