Advanced remote control options with Intel vPro / iAMT support
Netop Remote Control 9.5 is one of first remote control products to utilize Intel’s vPro chip-set feature to further reduce the number of on-site visits. You can now remote control and manage computers before the operating system is loaded or even if no operating system is available. As long as the computer is connected to a power line you can power it on/off, enter and change BIOS settings and install an operating system from an installer based on the Guest computer. You can also manage and monitor a large number of events like hard disk init, video init, keyboard etc.
Easy and improved connectivity with WebConnect
Netop introduces WebConnect as the new connection service for Netop Guests and Hosts. It will in many cases replace the Gateway. With WebConnect enabled Guest and Host can easily connect through the internet with no need to configure firewalls, routers or proxies. A WebConnect enabled Host can be installed anywhere without even considering firewalls, proxies and routers, and can still be remote controlled by a WebConnect enabled Guest. This makes it very easy to do remote support as it eliminates all connectivity issues on the end user networks.

Netop Remote Control 9.5 also offers organizations faster, easier, secure remote access. A new add-on module, Netop WebConnect, allows IT administrators to easily connect to any Host computer no matter where they are. Netop WebConnect does not use third-party servers, giving a company total ownership of its own data and security. Using Netop Web Connect, IT administrators can establish connections through the Internet and beyond network borders, without having to make security-critical changes to firewalls, routers or proxies.

With full support of all 64 bit versions of Windows Netop Remote Control is now supporting more platforms than any other remote control product. 64 bit is supported in both Guest and Host modules as well as the Security Server, Name Server and Gateway.

Up to 10 times faster connections over the internet with a newly designed HTTP implementation. The protocol is backwards compatible, however to make use of this higher speed both Guest, Host and other involved Netop modules e.g. Gateway must be version 9.2 or later.
