Success At Work - Volumes I and II
Getting along with other people is an essential work skill that every employee must learn in order to succeed on the job. Success At Work focuses on many of the everyday conflicts that arise between coworkers and their employers. In these two programs, your students will see examples of common work conflicts as they watch the interaction between the employees of a video production company, their boss, and a new client who has entrusted them with an important project. What takes place will spark serious classroom discussion and perhaps disagreement. 35-40 pages of reproducible, classroom activities included.
Volume I focuses on conflicts between Employees and Employers and includes: Being overworked, asking for a raise, dealing with a controlling boss, verbal abuse, a hard to please client, inappropriate dress, stealing from the employer, defining the boundaries of a job, and more.
Volume II focuses on conflicts between Coworkers and includes: Being responsible, working together as a team, sexual harassment, defining job responsibilities, taking advantage of co-workers, being honest, respecting coworkers' property, and more.
