Smoke Sensor from AVTECH Software, Inc.
The Smoke Sensor provides real-time recognition of smoke or fire and includes specially designed electronics that allow it to interface with Room Alert products as a switch sensor. Powered by one 9v alkaline battery (included), this model has a bright ‘escape’ light and loud ‘buzzer’ that are triggered if the sensor is activated.
This is an instant ‘Plug & Play’ sensor via one of the switch sensor channels on the back of the current Room Alert 11E and 7E ID models. Cable distance can be extended from the standard 25' to approximately 900' by using standard speaker wire, twisted pair or any reliable low voltage 2-wire cable.
