WinZip Computing, a Corel Company (NASDAQ:CREL; TSX:CRE), today announced the release of WinZip E-Mail Companion 2.0, a new time saving tool that reduces the size of outgoing e-mail attachments and provides password-based AES encryption to protect confidential information contained in those attachments.

WinZip E-Mail Companion 2.0 integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express and Microsoft Windows Mail (Windows Vista), streamlining the compression and encryption process into one easy step. Users simply attach their content, click "Send" and allow the WinZip E-Mail Companion to do the rest.

This simple automated process protects the confidentiality of attachment content, decreases e-mail transmission time for both sender and recipient, and reduces the amount of disk space required to store e-mail messages.
