2Type - a suite of 7 programs to develop keyboard familiarity, demonstrate techniques to take children towards touch typing, assess and report students' progress. Like all our software, the programs are simple and powerful to use.
They are firmly based on the experience of practicing teachers. The programs include games on both letter and word levels, exercises & dictations. Colour can be used to encourage pupils to use the correct hand, then correct finger for each key. The programs can be used as part of an ICT lesson to develop keyboard skills or within a Literacy lesson to improve spelling.
