Using photo heads on a 3d character is a way of introducing staff without being stuffy about it.
Use images like backgrounds that are familiar to your students. They will relate to it and it will increase acceptance of speaker and subject.
DESIGN
Design is a simple four-step process
Click on CAST to choose from a library of characters. Actors are defined in all three dimensions.
Click on COMMAND and watch the actor take a bow, do a somersault or raise his right eyebrow. Create a script by selecting the commands for the actor to perform. Hundreds of actions bring the actor to life. Add what you need to tell the story.
Click on PATH and draw a path for the actor to follow.
Click on ANIMATE to create the movie. The final designs are rendered as AVI files.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Windows
- Hard disk: 90MB or more recommended
- RAM: At least 16 MB
- CPU: Pentium I 90Mhz or better recommended
- Display: 24 bit or 16 Million colors recommended
Macintosh
Cannot use with Mac, but you may be able to view the animations through a Web browser or have a converter to change AVI to MOV (Quicktime) files.
