TurboCAD Furniture Maker v4 is a plug-in for TurboCAD v10-v14 to create and produce furniture for your projects. The perfect tool for woodworkers, interior designers and design studios.
Features:
Quick composition of shelves by means of vector
Once the vector specifying the direction of shelf composition has been defined, the shelves selected from the TurboCAD Furniture Maker v5 symbol library are automatically aligned next to one another. Furthermore there are many set options, such as distances in X, Y, and Z-axes and the sequence of the shelves may be changed during the insertion.
Simple definition of perspective
Determination of the viewer point and view direction enables one to immediately obtain the required perspective view including the pre-defined display of the resulting picture quality and subsequently saved as a JPG file.
New version of calculating and optimising program DAEX CUT in TCFMv5
Novelties in the Order module:
- The structure of data elements composing the furniture (shelf) set is displayed.
- Possibility to create a sub-set in the furniture (shelf) set
- Pre-definition of the fibre direction (along X- or Y-axis) on the table top.
- Allowances in X- or Y-direction may be defined for each area element
- Simplified selection of materials via mouse right button: the material of surface area elements may be easily selected and modified in material assortment.
- Locking columns for clearer work with data in Order module
- Possibility to pre-define most used print sets
- Possibility to copy particular item
- Mass insertion of data into selected lines (e.g. insertion of the allowance values in X-axis)
- Column Total - it will sum up the repeated elements in the furniture (shelf) set.
- Possibility to insert independent elements into order without including them into the set
- Novelties in Optimising module:
- The edge thickness may be taken into account; whether it should be subtracted from the total dimension of the cut plate or not.
- New setting for optimising calculation (e.g. possibility to mark components in sectioning plans, setting of maximal size of scrap for disposal)
- Pre-definition of printing sets for pre-defined print icons

Simple creation of floor and ceiling
- One click on the icon will automatically create the floor and ceiling with pre-defined attributes of textures, illumination and dimensions.
New potential for elongation of shelves
New variants of heads with the possibility to define material groups
- Four new variants of heads (now seven) and the new possibility to define material groups for particular heads.
Possibility to enter material group for particular element types
Example:
- Material group for door frames
- Material group for corpus
- Material group for back
- Material group for panels
The material, which is to be offered for specific width, may be precisely defined according to the type of plate and ramp.
Simplified creation of holes in table top
Possible switching over between 2D symbol schemes and their 3D display
- 2D and 3D icons will enable switching over between 2D schemes and 3D symbol display. 2D view of proposed interior schemes may be newly saved into jpg format, the same holds for the perspective view.
