New 1 2 3 from LaraMera has ten fun activities to practice and reinforce essential early math skills and concepts using numbers from 1 to 20. Practice addition and subtraction with animations, music and lots of surprises! Find the right answers to color in a picture, help the mouse escape the cat or free the fish. Have fun firing a catapult at the correct number.
Configurable options include: choose the number range; turn off the sound effects; or change the speed. Options can be saved for different users and you can view their results. Mouse, keyboard, touchscreen, whiteboard, one or two switches or IntelliKeys.
This program features Wizit the Wizard who dances, cheers, and gives the thumbs up sign as children successfully participate in interactive games. Eleven different activities present numbers from zero through ten. Numbers are counted out loud and all directions are clearly narrated. Activities are designed to help children develop essential skills in the areas of number names, ordering numbers, matching sets, determining more or less, and counting sets. Animation and catchy rhymes enliven the activities in Number Workshop and Number Fun, the two main sections of the program. The program aslo offers full speech support and enables teachers to individualize lessons for specific students by targeting specific numbers. Worksheets and a full-color wall poster are included.
