Secure Mail protects enterprise email systems from inbound threats: spam, viruses; or hackers trying to take down or take over the e-mail system.
IronMail also protects enterprise email systems from outbound threats: regulatory compliance violations, corporate policy violations, or theft (“leakage”) of confidential information or intellectual property.
Secure Mail is priced with a separate appliance price, then a per user subscription for the functionality required. Note that the subscription is per customer, not per appliance, so customers may purchase multiple appliances without requiring additional subscriptions. Customers must purchase a per user Email Protection subscription for a 1 or 3 year period and then may purchase additional per user subscriptions for a 1 or 3 year period.
Secure Mail per user options include; Required: Email Protection (differs slightly on the S10), Optional: Anti-Virus (McAfee, Sophos and/or Authentium), and/or Encryption.
Secure Mail appliances include S10 (up to 100 users), S100 (up to 1000 users), E2000 and E5000. The E-Class appliances are enterprise-class and sizing should be based on mail volumes.
Optional Secure Mail appliances include Push and Pull Encryption Appliances, Central Management Control, Central Quarantine Server, and Advanced
Compliance Server. These are purchased separately.
