AppFilter SoftPak
AppFilter allows system administrators to manage and block network vulnerabilities caused by Internet-and network-based applications and protocols that can pose significant security, liability and bandwidth issues. Using customizable rules, system managers can block over 70 network protocols and applications by time of day, bandwidth capacity, IP address, TCP port or custom programmable signatures, and then monitor activity in realtime with an easy to understand, customizable graph.
DMZ Interface Software SoftPak
Provides support for DMZ network interface.
Included in InstaGate xSP and InstaGate PRO - optional for InstaGate EX2.
Firewall Policy Manager SoftPak
Firewall Policy Manager allows administrators to fine-tune network security policies, so you can control and track the way your employees and customers are using the Internet. This SoftPak provides secure application gateways for popular Internet protocols, network access control for enforcing customer security policies and network usage tracking through logging. It also provides encrypted administration functionality so you can protect local networks from password theft.
Included in InstaGate xSP and InstaGate PRO - optional for InstaGate EX2.

Provides system redundancy.
Requires a second InstaGate appliance, same model as the first.
InstaRAK ASP Support SoftPak
Provides a portable server framework that lets developers deploy Active Server Pages (ASP)
on the InstaRAK appliance.
Included on IRAK HP - Optional on InstaRak (standard).
Internet Server SoftPak
Internet Server provides the tools you need to host and control your own public Web, FTP and DNS services without setting up complicated servers or paying hosting fees to service providers. An integrated Apache Web server, FTP server and DNS server can be configured and managed locally, so you can make changes as quickly as you need them, without waiting for your service provider.
(Note: This module is available for InstaGate xSP and InstaGate EX2.)

Modem Communications SoftPak
Modem Communications gives users secure, direct-dial access to InstaGate services and the company intranet, without requiring an Internet onnection and VPN. With Remote Access Service (RAS), remote and traveling users bypass the need for their own Internet connection. Connection Failover support ensures that if your corporate Internet connection fails, an alternate connection is initiated. A manual failover mode allows users to manually switch service between Internet connections.
(Note: Connection failover support is not available for customers who rely on an InstaGate internal modem or ISDN adapter as their primary Internet connection.).
Requires purchase of eSoft internal v.9 modem (part # RO-MOD-00) or an external serial modem.

Mail Server SoftPak
Provides mail service using POP and IMAP protocols.
Optional for InstaGate xSP and InstaGate PRO.
Webmail SoftPak
Webmail allows users to send and receive corporate e-mail from any Web browser. Webmail is an ideal solution for accessing e-mail outside the office without the need for a second e-mail address, special system configuration or a VPN. Unlike other free Web-based mail programs, Webmail resides on a local server and does not require users to supply confidential passwords to unknown third parties. In addition, Webmail supports the InstaGate POP and IMAP servers, making network integration seamless.
Note: Requires use of InstaGate mail server in stand-alone or relay mode. Requires email server software on InstaGate or Other email server on LAN (Included on InstaGate EX2 optional on InstaGate xSP and InstaGate PRO).

Desktop Anti-Virus SoftPak - Annual Subscription
Once you’ve protected your network with the Gateway Anti-Virus SoftPak, the next line of defense is often your users’ desktops. But users often don’t keep their anti-virus software up-to-date, leaving your internal network vulnerable to virus attacks. Desktop Anti-Virus solves this problem for Microsoft® Windows® users. By putting anti-virus software on the desktop, and managing updates from the InstaGate firewall appliance, you get the best of all worlds - desktop protection and centralized management.
Anti-virus software and signatures are downloaded, installed, and updated through InstaGate.

Gateway Antivirus SoftPak - Annual Subscription
Gateway Anti-Virus prevents costly network shutdowns by scanning and removing suspicious or infected e-mail messages before they enter your network. Anti-Virus resides on the gateway, eliminating or quarantining infected messages and attachments before they enter or leave your network, and providing automatic notification, signature updates, and centralized management, which reduces the workload for your IT staff.
Requires e-mail server software on InstaGate or other e-mail server on LAN.

Intrusion Detection and Prevention SoftPak - Annual Subscription
By integrating powerful intrusion prevention with the InstaGate, the Intrusion Detection and Prevention SoftPak (IDS/IPS)enables you to automatically detect and instantly block malicious intrusions - before they can damage your network. Using proprietary attack profiling and response technology, IDS/IPS proactively identifies the attacks most common to your network and determines your preferred response, making intrusion response both immediate and appropriate. Automatic attack signature updates ensure that your network is secured from all the latest threats. Easily customized attack signatures ensure that you meet your specific security requirements. And a Web-based interface lets you easily manage and monitor the status of your network security from any location, so you save time and can respond instantly.
Available on InstaGate PRO only.
Security Check SoftPak - Annual Subscription
Security Check scans networks for vulnerabilities, reporting any risks and recommending corrective actions. Security Check uses a vulnerability knowledge base to run more than 2,500 tests, with new tests added weekly. Automated network scans help you track network vulnerabilities on an ongoing basis.
Note: Provides scanning for one IP address only.
SiteFilter-URL Screening SoftPak - Annual Subscription
SiteFilter filters Internet content according to your organization’s security policies and user guidelines. It allows you to manage Internet access ranging from simple access restrictions to thorough blocking of any site. SiteFilter includes a base access control list of more than four million URLs categorized into 40 different content groups, ten of which can be user-defined. It enables implementation of highly customized and detailed access restrictions - by category, user, day and time - for improved business productivity and liability control.

SmartReports SoftPak - Annual Subscription
SmartReports provides concise, customizable reports that help you analyze and understand how e-mail, Web access and bandwidth are being used. Reports such as sites accessed by person, most popular sites by duration and 50 highest volume external e-mail addresses are pre-defined for simple deployment and can be charted effortlessly, making complex network information understandable at a glance. Reports can be easily customized, automatically generated at specified time intervals and output to a variety of file formats.

SpamFilter SoftPak - Annual Subscription
SpamFilter helps prevent unsolicited, commercial e-mail from reaching workstations on a LAN by filtering messages delivered from questionable sources. SpamFilter can be configured to automatically reject, redirect, quarantine or tag and deliver filtered e-mails. To prevent unintended filtering, SpamFilter can be configured to exempt e-mail from trusted sources, such as customers and business partners.

VPN Manager SoftPak - Annual Subscription
As eSoft’s global VPN management solution, VPN Manager enables centralized management of a distributed network of InstaGate Internet security appliances and mobile users through any Web browser. Based on industry-standard security protocols including IPsec, VPN Manager is ideal for managed remote access and branch office connectivity. Equipped with a central policy database, VPN Manager eliminates the need for tunnel parameters to be configured on each VPN device, helping to reduce IT resource requirements and speed VPN deployment. The Web-based management tool makes deploying large-scale VPNs as easy as a few mouse clicks.

VPN Client SoftPak - Annual Subscription
VPN Client is a remote user VPN access solution that provides stronger security and easier management than PPTP. Based on the industry-standard SafeNet SoftRemote(TM) client, it allows central management of remote user VPN clients while supporting dynamic IP addresses. Its policy server enables "zero-config" client installation. VPN Client integrates seamlessly with VPN Manager for management of remote users connecting to multiple InstaGate-protected offices.
