Does Web Reporter offer some of the features currently available in Content Reporter and/or SmartReporter?
Secure Web Reporter essentially combines the real-time, easy-to-use experience of SmartReporter with the power and flexibility of the off-line processing provided by Content Reporter into one solution. Secure Web Reporter improves the functionality found in both products and adds additional capabilities such as Delegated Reporting and support for reports in 11 different languages.
What is the difference between the Premium version and the Basic version?
Web Reporter Premium offers the same functionality found in the Basic version and adds the following capabilities:

Is an embedded database available?
An embedded database will be available for both the Premium and Basic versions in version 5.0.1, available in August 2008. Prior to the availability of 5.0.1, customers that want to evaluate or purchase Web Reporter Premium can use an external database such as MySQL, SQL, or Oracle.
How will I know if the embedded database will handle my customers’ needs?
A sizing guide will be available in August with the release of 5.0.1
What is the migration path for Content Reporter and SmartReporter customers?
Web Reporter Premium is the migration path for Content Reporter customers. Content Reporter customers with current support contracts can receive a Web Reporter Premium license for no cost and utilize the remaining time on their support contract for Web Reporter. Once their current support contract expires, they can purchase Secure Web Reporter Premium subscriptions at a discounted price – similar to what they are currently paying for Content Reporter support. Renewal SKUs for these customers will appear on the price list.
Content Reporter customers who do not want to move to Web Reporter Premium can stay on Content Reporter since they own a perpetual license and continue to purchase support until the Content Reporter yet-to-be-announced EOL date. Once Content Reporter reaches this future EOL date, customers may continue to use Content Reporter but will not be able to buy or receive
Web Reporter Basic will be the migration path for SmartReporter customers beginning in August 2008.
