Science Court: Data and Inquiry from Tom Snyder

The fun and easy way to teach fundamental science concepts!

Science Court: Data and Inquiry is part of the Science Court series.

The Science Court series introduces core science concepts and models good scientific practice with this fun and engaging series that mixes animated courtroom drama, hands-on science activities, and humor. As each case unfolds, students examine the facts and perform hands-on experiments to help them predict the verdict. By discussing their findings in groups and as a class, students are able to articulate and comprehend challenging science topics.

In Science Court: Data and Inquiry, Shep Sherman has the data to prove that aliens are about to invade town. He accuses Chief of Police, Lois Chan, of failure to respond to a UFO crisis. Chief Chan, however, thinks Shep's data is bogus. Is Shep crying wolf? Are UFOs about to invade Earth? It all depends on how you gather and analyze the data.
