Training Modules (IV) and (V) could be substituted by a Microsoft CTEC training offering or a combination of internal training and on-line learning offered through MazikUSA partners. However, we do offer an in-depth understanding of MazikUSA SIS code within these classes and highly recommend districts to attend to develop proper skill set within their teams.
MazikUSA Administrator Training – 2 Days (Course MSDOT2001)
Pre-requisite: Basic computer user knowledge
Two Days training that will cover:
a. MazikUSA SIS Installation, Configuration and Set-up
b. Coverage of all System Administrator Functionality, District set-up parameters, School set-up parameters from the User Level Perspective.
c. Covers an overview of Courses MSTEA2003 & MSSTA2003
MazikUSA Teacher’s Training – 1 Day (Course MSTEA2002)
Pre-requisite: Basic computer user knowledge
One Day training to go over User Based training for the Teachers to go over:
a. Grade-book Functionality
b. Attendance
c. Student Discipline
d. Student Lesson Plans
e. Login Details
MazikUSA Staff Training – 2 Days (Course MSSTA2003)
Pre-requisite: Basic computer user knowledge
Two Days training that will cover:
a. Student Registration
b. Student/Staff Database Record
c. Administrator Level Functions
d. Grade-book Administrator
e. Student Discipline Administrator
f. Grade Level Administrator
g. Student/Staff Attendance Administrator
h. Student Fee and Billing
i. Parent Login Administrator
MazikUSA SQL Server 2000 Application Training – 1 Week (Course MSSQL2004)
Pre-requisite: Basic knowledge of databases, creation and scripting.
a. Get initial user/developer training from tech-drills, CTEC and/or Microsoft to benefit the most from this intense SQL server training class.
b. MazikUSA will deliver this intense Microsoft SQL Server database drill down using MazikUSA SIS database as the foundation for this course. There will be plenty of examples, sample databases, and discussions on all database topics as it applies to MazikUSA design.
MazikUSA .NET Framework Application Training – 1 Week (Course MSDOT2005)
Pre-requisite: Basic knowledge of VB, ASP, C-sharp programming
a. Get initial user/developer training from tech-drills, CTEC and/or Microsoft .com website
b. MazikUSA will deliver this intense .NET Programming (VB.net, ASP.net, c-Sharp) drill down training using examples from MazikUSA SIS to prepare the student to start working with the MazikUSA SIS code
MazikUSA Application Code Drilldown Training – 2 Weeks (Course MSPRO2006)
(Pre-requisite: Completion and or certification that attendee has completed the requirements for courses MSSQL2003 and MSDOT2005. Attendees without this key pre-requisite will not make required progress so we highly recommend that these pre-requisites be met. In addition, students must have developed a completed understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft .NET Framework Programming skills.)
1) Two weeks of initial MazikUSA SIS code drill down workshop for those who have completed (IV & V) above and/or have in-depth knowledge of the subject areas. Developers will learn about MazikUSA SIS and how to add/edit/customize code to meet their specific district needs.
2) Some of the concepts as they related to MazikUSA coding system will include:
a. SIS Business Modeling & Design
b. SIS Data Modeling, Tables, Procedures, Classes
c. SIS Standards, Formats, Programming Practices
d. SIS Coding and Programming
e. SIS Testing between objects, components, processes, load/stress tests
f. SIS Deployment, Implementation, and Configuration
3) The last three days of this two-week class will be focused entirely on students looking at the MazikUSA SIS code test examples and modifying the code and customizing, building, and compiling MazikUSA SIS Code.
4) Upon successful conclusion of this class it is recommended that users allow themselves 2-4 weeks of practice time before working with Production System.
