Ear Training Coach is a superb value for instructors preparing students for sight-reading and ear-training examinations at any grade level. Developed in accordance with the RCM syllabus, Ear Training Coach contains thousands of exercises at each conservatory level.
Many teachers have wondered how to implement a decent ear training program, with a small amount of lesson time per week. Most often it doesn't get done. Now the student can make daily progress, reducing the lesson time required, and improving the results.
The first step to an effective Ear Training program is to take printed Ear Training materials and put them on the shelf - they can't do a thing to train the ear. A coach is required. Students will play back musical passages by ear, read music at sight and learn to discern pitches, intervals, scales, chords and rhythms.
All games and activities are interactively assessed, extensively graded and have multiple settings to satisfy learners with varied skills and knowledge. Students are directed to areas that need improvement and receive detailed reporting for each exercise and game.
Each edition contains exam preparation for two grades at an affordable price to allow students to use this tool every day at home.
