Edge Appliances
Secure Computing Edge is powered by TrustedSource to provide an additional layer of security at the network perimeter to protect against spam, viruses and zombies before they reach the enterprise network. Edge can handle up to 1 million messages per appliance per hour - the highest performance available - to reject email from known bad senders, throttle suspicious senders and allow good senders to connect. Edge can sit in front of IronMail or any other competitors' products. Note that there is no additional charge for TrustedSource support or infrastructure. Edge appliance prices include 3 year warranty, with Next Business Day service, at no additional charge.
Edge has an option to include McAfee AntiVirus in memory (note: McAfee is the only AV option available on Edge). Please see McAfee AntiVirus per user subscriptions on this sheet for SKUs and prices. The customer only has to license McAfee once for all Messaging Gateway Security appliances purchased. For example, if the customer has purchased McAfee on IronMail, that customer can also include McAfee on Edge for no additional charge.
