Word Capture from Kidsmart

The “Pre-Emergent” level ESL program as well as the full English version. In the ESL version, all of the audio, and all of the text instruction, is in Spanish. An exciting vocabulary enrichment activity using a seek and find word puzzle in a jungle theme. The student first selects a Category (Animals, Automobiles, etc.), and is then presented a word puzzle with a list of words from the category that is hidden within the word puzzle. When the student discovers a word, they must click on the first and last letter of the word. If the word selected is on the list, Word Capture will highlight that word and award points. The Edit feature allows creation of new categories/puzzles (up to 26) with 12 words of ten or fewer letters each, as well as the editing of the existing categories. Additionally, a print feature is included which allows printing of the puzzles for classroom use. A great tool for working on word recognition, spelling, fact review, and more.
