Pursuant to a definitive agreement, Trend Micro is purchasing Mobile Armor, an innovative encryption specialist based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, in a move to expand its data protection product portfolio. Mobile Armor’s offerings provide full-disk, file/folder, and removable media encryption for endpoints complementing Trend Micro’s existing data loss prevention, email encryption and cloud encryption products.
The acquisition of Mobile Armor aligns with Trend Micro’s vision of securing digital information, no matter where it resides. Mobile Armor’s encryption solutions complement Trend Micro’s existing security offerings by enabling customers to secure information at rest from the endpoint to the cloud.
