Microsoft School Agreement Windows

As of November 1, 2009, qualified academic organizations can acquire Windows 7 Home Premium operating system licenses for existing desktop PCs that are running unlicensed versions of a Windows desktop operating system by ordering Get Genuine Windows Agreement for Academic (GGWA-A) SKUs through the Microsoft Open License for Academic program. After academic customers properly license the underlying Windows desktop operating system, they can acquire a Windows 7 Professional operating system upgrade license or license and Software Assurance pack through the Campus Agreement program. In addition, a Windows 7 Professional upgrade license with active Software Assurance coverage provides upgrade rights to the Windows 7 Enterprise operating system.
